Summary:
The immunoscintigraphy — method of visualisation of tumors with the use of radionuclide-labelled antibody against the tumor marker is one of possibilities of the tumor diagnostics. Based on our experiences with the tumor imaging with the help of labelled anti-ferritin antibodies in an experimental model, we tried to employ the immunoscintigraphy in the clinical practice. We examined 7 patients with different tumors using antibody prepared in our laboratory however, no successful results were achieved. The reasons for this are discussed in the work.
