Summary:
  The problem of staging laparotomy with splenectomy in the patients suffering from Hodgkin's has been discussed up to date leading oncological workplaces und and is not unambigously closed. The authors demonstrate in their work above all the risk of progression-of the basic illness in the patients with suspect intraabdominal form of malignant lymphogranulom who were operated on for histological verification on the illness. This diagnostic modality should be considerate and indicated in severely defined cases.
