Abstract: Changes in peripheral blood smear and routine investigation of coagulation system and linked clinical are very common symptoms in patients with solid malignancy. They are either paraneoplastic or a sequelae of oncological therapy. They may either be the first presentation of yet unrecognized tumour or can imitate primary haematological disease. The article reviews the changes in peripheral blood smear and coagulation disorders in patient with cancer. Five short case reports from the authors’ hospital are added.
