Klin Onkol 1988; 1(3): 95-96.

Summary: Authors compare 2500 patients from mammography screening which are older than 30 years with the same number of the symptomatic patients from the mammology clinics. The comparison unequivocally depicts a high-risk mammography pattern which is similar to the structure of the surface of the marble. 4% of women in the population have dysplastic changes with this X-ray pattern. In this groupe is the occurence of the breast carcinoma 8-times higher than in the general population.
