Klin Onkol 1996; 9(5): 154-155.

Summary: Malignant melanoma (MM) is found in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses in 1 % of cases. The important symptoms are epistaxis and nasal blockage. Clinical symptoms resemble the usual nasal polyp. MM in this area causes early metastases which lead to the generalisation of the process. In our patient we describe unusual metastases into the trachea.
