Klin Onkol 1997; 10(1): 24-26.

A group of 13 cancer patients was followed up in the period 1993-1995 after treatment with anthracyclins combined with dexrazoxan. By use of routine investigations (EKG, X-ray, echocardiography), no serious cardial toxicities were found save a patient with contemporary ischemical disease. The questions of cytostatic toxicity, diagnostic and cardioprotection are discussed.
